Yevhenii Shapovalov is a Ukrainian contemporary artist whose practice explores the human body as a field of pressure, conflict, transformation, and conflict.

In his work, the body is not treated as a portrait or an ideal form. It becomes a surface affected by force — compressed, fragmented, stretched, erased, or transformed.

His ongoing series Pressure of Mass examines how external and internal pressure changes form, identity, and perception. Mythological, religious, and symbolic images are used not as narratives, but as structures through which the body encounters force.
